Dr. Sappington grew up just an hour down the road in Hermann, MO. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology at Truman State University before moving on to veterinary school at the University of Missouri. After graduating in 2009 she joined a private practice just outside of Kansas City, working with cats, dogs, and numerous pocket pets and exotics. Columbia drew her back though, and in 2010 she joined the team at Rock Bridge Animal Hospital. She lives with her husband Bryan, her son Drew, daughter Abby, Plato the dog, and Mario the cat.
In her free time Dr. Sappington enjoys playing sand volleyball, piano, board games, and hiking with the family.
