Practice Manager
Sarah joins us after 10+ years in human healthcare administration. She discovered her passion for the human-animal bond after finding an injured dog on the side of the road (Bean). She trained Bean to become a therapy dog which spiraled into creating a visiting dog program, a (human) hospital-specific therapy dog training program, and even becoming a dog trainer herself (knowledge assessed Pro Dog Trainer through Absolute Dogs). She is thrilled to put her talents to use at our Fear Free certified hospital.
When she’s not working, Sarah hangs out with her pets: a Borkie (Beagle/Yorkie) named Bean, a German Shepherd/Komondor mix named Remy, 2 cats named Hobbes and Maisy, and a Senegal parrot named Spencer. She is a serial dabbler in arts and crafts and enjoys playing board games like Wingspan, Calico, or Welcome to the Moon.
